Unfortunately we were met with some truly frightful weather. This was not sunny happy Petra, this was Petra with temperatures around freezing, winds of 30 to 50 mph blowing dust into our eyes, low and stormy clouds that obscured some of the mountains, and snow forecast the next day. We took shelter where we could find it.
